Come Glamping in Penbugle Organic Farm’s beautiful Bell Tents!
New in 2018 are our 5 & 4 metre Nomadic Bell Tents
Penbugle Organic Farm Bell Tents are positioned in a separate grass paddock next door to our Wigwam® Cabins area. Our Bell Tents might occasionally share our peaceful surroundings with some touring tents, however rest assured there is plenty of room!
Each Bell Tent is pitched on wooden decking to keep the flooring off the ground during wet weather, therefore adding a little bit extra to the glamping experience. Every Bell Tent has views of the farm and has its own outdoor picnic table. Each Bell Tent accommodates up to five guests, with one double and two or three single futons. Bell Tents have cotton rugs to keep bare feet happy and cosy. Lighting is provided by candle light that offers soft light in which to relax and unwind.
Barbeques are permitted outside the tents only. We don’t allow any disposable barbeques, but every Bell Tent has its own firepit as standard, which can also be used for cooking.
Toilet, shower and washing-up facilities are a short walk away in the next field, close to the Wigwam® Cabins. There is also a shared kitchen area with kettle, toaster and microwave for all guests to use, and a fridge solely for Bell Tent guests’ usage.
Bedding is not provided, so please bring your own bed linen/sleeping bags, pillows and towels, crockery and cutlery and washing up equipment. Remember your torches and wellies! There is very little light pollution, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of modern living and a chance to gaze at the night sky.
Cars are to be parked in the car park area at all times, which is outside the paddocks. We provide fun wheelbarrows to transport your equipment to the Bell Tents. This keeps the campsite vehicle free and safe for everyone.
Rubbish is to be sorted into recycling bins and into the general rubbish bins, or taken home with you, as we try to do our bit for our environment. Pooches welcome – kept on a lead at all times and owners MUST clean up after their dogs.
