First of all, we hope everyone who is reading this is safe and well!
What a tumultuous few weeks we’ve been through.
We’re all emerging from lockdown with a new perspective and perhaps just a little bit of apprehension.
Here at Penbugle Organic Farm, we’ve grappled with the decision as to whether we should open our glamping accommodation for our amazing guests for summer 2020, or not.
After much soul-searching and consideration, we’ve decided to remain closed for the 2020 season.
It has not been an easy decision to make at all.
Our glamping site is a very important aspect of our business and we enjoy welcoming guests to our corner of Cornwall.
However, as many of you know, as organic farmers, we are also classed as key workers.
We have our cattle, sheep and our hens to look after and we’ve also been supplying eggs to our local and regional community during the lockdown period.
Working in the agricultural industry is very rewarding and is also incredibly hard work and in order for us to keep our livestock healthy and our egg delivery business operational, we have decided, just for the 2020 season, to focus on these aspects here at Penbugle.
We are truly sorry for our amazing guests … we do hope you understand this decision wasn’t easy for us.
However, there is a lot to be hopeful about.
We will-reopen our glamping accommodation and facilities for the 2021 season and for the time being, you can book your 2021 staycation at 2020 rates … hurrah!
Key dates in our 2021 glamping season include:
2nd April – Good Friday
5th April – Easter Monday
3rd May – Early May Bank Holiday
31st May – Late May Bank Holiday
30th August – Summer Bank Holiday
May we thank everyone for their patience and understanding and we look forward to seeing you next year!
