Who Runs Penbugle Organic Farm?

We are the Ridout Family, and we’ve farmed here for a number of years.

We have chickens, Dales Ponies, cattle and sheep, all run organically here at Penbugle.

Our farm is on the vast Duchy of Cornwall Estate, which is owned by HRH Prince Charles.

As an estate farm, we have some of the best countryside around us.

You will also see Duchy Canine Hydrotherapy is located on our farm, run by our daughter Steph.

Is Penbugle Organic Farm Suitable for Couples and Families?

Yes! Our site is small yet spacious, with plenty of open areas for the kids to enjoy the great outdoors.

How to Get to Penbugle Organic Farm

Cornwall is renowned for its amazing scenery – and for its rural, often narrow roads!

If you are travelling by car, then you can follow the directions on our website. Be wary of the Sat Nav as it takes you to another location.

Travelling by rail is a relaxing way to get about and the nearest railway station is Liskeard.

There is also a network of bus routes that will get you about the county at peak times only.

When you get near to Penbugle, you need to look for our signage which is visible from the roadside.

Once you take the turning into Penbugle, you will follow a narrow lane which eventually opens out into our farmyard.

Welcome to Penbugle Organic Farm Glamping!

What Do I Need to Bring with Me?

As with most glamping trips, you will need to bring essential items such as all clothing, all toiletries, food and drink.

You will need to bring all pans, cutlery, crockery and glassware with you.

You will also need to bring all bedding including a large flat sheet, duvets, pillows and/or sleeping bags and all towels.

If you forget anything, there are shops in Liskeard and Looe with some provisions, however we recommend you make a packing list before you set off so you remember everything and are well prepared.

Can We Bring Our Dog?

Yes, providing we’ve been told about your pet and you’ve paid for him or her. There is one pet-free cabin onsite for humans with allergies.

We limit the dogs up to three dogs per cabin, thank you (tariffs apply).

Once you’re here your dog must be kept on a lead at all time.

Do your research before you come with regards to places to visit that a dog friendly, as you can’t leave your dog in your cabin while you sightsee.

Some beaches also have dog bans during the summer.

Can We Bring More than One Car?

Due to lack of space, and so we help do our bit for the environment, we encourage just one car per cabin.

However if this isn’t possible, you can bring an additional car and a tariff will apply.
